I first found yoga in 2007 as a way to create more flexibility and balance to help advance my careers in both Environmental Law and professional skiing. In 2010 after serious injury, yoga became a way for me to heal both mind and body. In 2011, I moved to New York City to study and teach yoga full-time under legendary yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra.

Today, I teach yoga to a wide variety of students ranging from first timers to advanced practitioners. In my classes you will find well rounded, thoughtful sequences comprised of deep twists, forward bends, heart openers, hip openers, back bends, carefully taught inversions/arm balances, and of course pranayama and meditation. Most classes will follow the patterns used by master teacher Dharma Mittra, but I also draw on a wealth of experience from such traditions as Ashtanga, Sivananda. Iyengar and The Rocket. It is my goal to create a safe nurturing environment for my students, to enable them to master progressively difficult sequences and asanas while still providing a setting that helps to quiet the mind.

I am a passionate believer in the power of yoga to heal both the body and mind, this practice unlocks the power to evolve physically, mentally, and spiritually.
