Vanessa da Silva, began her exploration into Yoga 5 years ago, manly for medical reasons, but it did not take long to develop a dedicated relationship with the practice of Yoga, becoming her life style.
Vanessa is looking forward to making people see their true self through the practice of Yoga, by allowing them to be totally comfortable and worry free. She loves to give people a more positive influence, focusing with a peaceful, stronger mind and body, so that they can become happier and transform their lives in a beautiful way.
In 2013, completed RYT 200 hours Multidimensional Yoga Teacher Trainer, with Indira Kalmbach, director of Pavones Yoga Center in Costa Rica. Later in the same year, has finished 100 hours courses (for RYT 500), of Art of Flow and Integrative Healing Yoga Therapy, in the same Yoga Center.
One year later, in 2014, Vanessa traveled to Mysore India, birth place of Ashtanga Yoga System, to study with Sri B.N.S. Iyengar, disciple of Sri Krishnamacharya, considered to be the father of the modern Yoga, where She concluded a Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Tradition.
Vanessa travels to do her yearly study in India with Ajay Kumar, direct disciple of B.N.S. Iyengar. Her continued focus is in Ashtanga Method and also enjoys to go deeper and stronger into her personal practice and life.
Also, Vanessa has great interest in the healing process of each individual. For that, She has studied over these past years subjects such as, Reiki, Body Therapy, Ayurveda Therapy and Meditation. She believes this kind of knowledge to be helpful in the process of transformation in her students.
